I'm going to do a pre-holiday 12 days of anti-xmas behind the music stories for some tracks from the catalogue. I very much enjoy folk to takeaway their own vibe or meaning from things but sometimes the circumstance around a track is a fun surprise.

here is a track from the control.org album “manipulate” that could very easily be considered a battle anthem for unrequited love, or powerful loss and betrayal. Well kinda, you see, at the time of writing this track we were in a pretty posh flat and it had a pretty nice kitchen, however, the sink disposal was fucking possessed by a demon. Instead of grinding and disposing it would make an Einstürzende Neubauten racket and eject shit OUT of the sink. It was “repaired” thrice and would still go into eject mode making mess after mess. So I vowed for retribution. When it was replaced I got to do the honours of chucking it in the skip. YAY!
